Glasshouse Under the Mistletoe 380g Soy Candle

Under the Mistletoe is the most straightforwardly delicious candle in the Christmas range. Orange and mandarin open it, apple, red berries, cinnamon and clove bud warm it through, and it finishes on vanilla and sweet caramel. It smells like shortbread with caramel apples and cinnamon sprinkled over the top, which is exactly as hard to resist as it sounds.

The 2026 vessel is our favourite of the collection, and it will be yours too. Illustrated by Jeffrey Phillips for Glasshouse's A Very Merry World, this one celebrates a proper Australian Christmas at a white weatherboard home: wreaths and eskies, prawns on the barbecue, children in the pool and Santa in board shorts. After years of candles pretending we all have snow outside, it is lovely to see one that knows what December actually looks like here.

A full bodied 4 out of 5 strength suits medium and large rooms, so it holds the kitchen and living area where everyone congregates anyway. It arrives ready to give, and the vessel is a keeper long after the 60 hours are up.

Details:

380g soy blend candle with a lid and two natural lead free cotton wicks, for an even burn and up to 60 hours of pure, intensely fragrant scent. No Parabens. No Silicones. No PEGs.

Instructions:

Trim wicks to 7mm before each use using scissors or a wick trimmer. Wicks that are too short may stop the wax burning to the edge (tunnelling), while wicks left too long can mushroom and cause black soot to form on the glass. Place your candle in a draught free spot, away from small children, pets and flammable material. Burn for no less than one hour and no more than four hours at a time.
